SciFi Expo Announces Exciting New Rebrand
The SciFi Expo is announcing today the introduction of a new visual identity system that not only better reflects its mission and goals, but one that is also far more versatile in various different applications. Coinciding with the rebrand of our identity system we’ve made some updates and changes to our website to better reflect our new branding and styling.

The Expo’s new identity incorporates the pink ideals of the Making Strides campaign, while also paying homage to the overall science fiction genre. Our new logo uses a blockier typeface that is clear and readable, while also still being able to feel inherently science fiction. The Expo’s new icon mark utilizes the E and the X to create the shape of an arrow, representing one of our foremost values: Always moving forwards.
The Expos new logo is a step forward, with a look and feel that embodies the Expo’s tireless determination and genuine care for the event and it’s goal of beating Cancer. The new typeface and vibrant colors reflect the event’s approach to their work: energetic, passionate, and creative.
While our brand may adapt and change as design tastes and trends change, it will always reflect the core ethos of our organization. One thing that will always remain a constant is our dedication and support to help fight back against cancer in the search for a cure.

About the SciFi Expo
The SciFi Expo is a charity fundraising event based in Second Life. Originally founded in 2017 to succeed the SciFi Faire and benefit Relay For Life, the event went on to hold several mega-events in 2017, and 2018, and two smaller holiday centric events also in 2017, and 2018.
